Originally acquired nearly a century ago by one of the region’s most distinguished business figures, the property was subsequently purchased — in a single, private transaction — by the current owners’ father, who held it with clear and unencumbered title for the remainder of his life. It has since passed, by inheritance, to his children, who are today its sole and unified owners.
